We have started this forum to help in the efforts of finding Michelle O. McMullen
It has been a year since anyone we know of has seen or heard from our daughter, we have been actively working with law enforcement and interested persons throughout this ordeal. We have yet to receive any information, leads or facts that represent what may have happen. Why, or most importantly, where Michelle is currently. We are not with out hope. We want to keep the interest and investigation alive, we want to keep you informed and we want you to be responsive and active in this search. We look for your input, your comments and any information that may lead us to the whereabouts of Michelle.
We want to thank many of you who have been supportive throughout this past year. This has been a difficult time on many who have been touched by Michelle's life. We appreciate your efforts, your cares and even your sometimes hard questions.
Jayden, Michelle's seven year old son is well, he loves and misses his mother and looks every day to see her again.
We all look to see Michelle again soon. With the blood of Jesus and God's grace and mercy all things are possible.
To know why gives us curiosity
To not know if gives us emptiness
However Prayer and Hope gives us comfort
Pray for Michelle, pray that Michelle may be safe, pray that Michelle may not be in harms way and pray that Michelle will will return to her life
Thank you

Not a phone call or mail or e-mail since, one more day of remembrance of our daughter. Our hearts our heavy the unknowing is almost unbearable, but even in the midst of all of this we still trust God. One more day will be one day when God touches the human heart and convict those who know what happen that night. And because God is a forgiving and loving God he will convict them to tell the story of the disappearance of our Michelle’ OrphaLee McMullen.
Well when tomorrow comes I pray that it will be the day, but in the mean time it will still be one more day of remembrance.

We are new at this blogging so please bear with us in putting information in perspective.
It is our effort to bring everyone up to speed with the events and information we know.
To this date, there are various authorities searching, as we are being assured that they are continuing to search for clues and the whereabouts of Michelle.
The last possible sighting of Michelle was supposed to be in Martinsburg WV
(I may sound a little suspect) Here's why.
To this point, you may have read where Michelle's best friend Madonna has been a central figure in this event.
Madonna was the point of first contact when Michelle arrived back to Harrisburg from college as well the person who reported the alleged sighting of Michelle in WV.
The local police department in their early investigation began to finally question more closely the friends and persons who may have been close to Michelle. Through this process, they did ask Madonna if she would submit to a polygraph examination (lie detector test). After some time Madonna did finally submit to the examination. It was reported from the police detective that administered the test that Madonna may not have answered all questions honestly. I have been told that of the five main questions regarding Michelle, there were two of the questions that were suspect. 1) Do you know what happen to Michelle? 2) Do you know where Michelle is? At that point, Madonna had been considered a person of continued interest however she professed that she had no additional information.
It was then several days after the failed polygraph exam that the alleged sighting of Michelle was reported to the police by: Guess who? Madonna.
I received a phone call early morning (around 8am) from Madonna that she had just received a call from someone who thinks they saw Michelle at a Motel in Martinsburg WV. Madonna told me that it was a friend of hers who just so happened to be in Martinsburg and noticed who he thought was to be Michelle. Madonna said that this guy had not actually seen Michelle in a few years but that he was confident that she was in this motel.
Now here is where it gets Deep!!
Madonna called me back and said that she called the motel and that the person who answered the phone was Michelle! Madonna said she knew Michelle's voice and when she heard her friend, she hung up immediately and called me.
This is the part that shook me. Madonna had been Michelle's best friend, knew her since childhood and to that point had been under the belief that something may have happened to her friend.
You call and hear your friend and you say nothing and hang up... Not even what happen or how are you or anything. Something just does not add up in that story.
The police were notified immediately before she contact me, and they in turn contacted the WV local police responded right away and could find no person at the motel and after a search of the area was also unable to turn up anyone who fit that description.
The police were unable to collect any evidence of the person who was reported sighted at the motel other than the motel staff who reported that they may have seen a person who may have fit that description. No fingerprints, no DNA, no clothes no nothing.
How does a person just disappear into thin air???
In retrospect, there are many things that did not add up, persons who we also believe have not been forthcoming. However, our suspicions to date have not yielded any new leads or confirmed whereabouts of Michelle.

What Happen To Michelle O. McMullen???
Greetings, Family Friends and All Concerned
We continue our search
As many of you share our concern and interest in Michelle’s disappearance, we want to continue providing as much information as we (the family) have available.
What We Know:
Michelle Left Harrisburg PA on September 28, 2008 headed back to College
Michelle’s Car Was Found On October 8, 2008 outside Hagerstown MD
On November we were told Michelle was sighted in Martinsburg WV
Local and Federal Police are continuing to investigate
No new clues have been developed or reported
Family, friends, schoolmates and associates have been questioned some have been subject to polygraph examinations. (Some examinations have not been totally forthcoming however no leads can be established from the failed information).
NBC TV has just completed filming here in Harrisburg PA the Story of Michelle’s Disappearance.
Michelle’s disappearance has been impacted with questions, mysteries, drama, twists and turns that have provided no clear motives.
NBC has agreed to produce an hour long program that will reveal who Michelle is and how her life has unfolded.
We can not imagine why Michelle would voluntary or become in-voluntary to disappear or remain separated from her son and family.
The questions of interest that surfaced well after Michelle’s disappearance don’t seem to be of the magnitude to warrant this type of actions
We have not seen heard from or have had any contact with Michelle or any one that has knowledge of her whereabouts or disappearance
We are concerned and worried about our daughter, she is out there, she is alone, she is without support and she has to be afraid.
We ask you to keep looking – keep asking questions – and keep praying
We are not without Hope.

As you may know our daughter Michelle’ McMullen has been missing for 30 days as of today. We have no clues or leads to her whereabouts and are standing on God’s word and your prayers to help bring our daughter home safe and sound. We are more then willing to share with you what we know about the situation. Please read the following attached information if you are interested in what is going on.
Michelle’ McMullen has been a full time student residing off campus at Grambling State University since August 11, 2008. She decided to make the life changing decision to pack up her life and move her and her 6 year old son Jayden from her lifelong home of Harrisburg, Pa to a small town next to the University, which is Ruston, La. Michelle’ met with many challenges once she was settled in at school and moved into her new apartment. After some difficulty finding a job and babysitting services for Jayden, Michelle soon realized it would be better for Jayden to come back to Harrisburg while she faced her new challenges head on. Being a single mother for the past 6 years she has held a very strong bond with Jayden but decided that babysitters and afterschool programs weren’t good replacements for the love and care of family members.
For several days Michelle talked with her friend MaDonna about what to do or methods of getting Jayden back to Harrisburg.
On Friday September 26, 2008 Michelle’s employer unexpectedly gave her the weekend off which gave way for her to drive from Ruston to Harrisburg. We feel Michelle felt more comfortable bringing Jayden back home herself. On Saturday morning Michelle and Jayden attended a school fair with friends. Her friends report that Michelle was in good spirits and her and Jayden seemed to be having a wonderful time.
We feel that Michelle had to have left Louisiana sometime on Saturday afternoon September 27, 2008 in order to make the tiresome 17 ½ hour journey to return Jayden back to Harrisburg and then be able to make it back to Louisiana for her scheduled classes and work on Tuesday.
Michelle arrived in Harrisburg late Sunday evening around 8:30 pm and dropped Jayden and his things off with her friend MaDonna. We find out later from her girlfriend that Michelle didn’t want us to know she was driving home because we surely wouldn’t have wanted her to travel under these conditions. Once in Harrisburg she spoke with only one other person via phone. She got back onto the highway to make the journey back to her school, after dropping Jayden. She called MaDonna to check on Jayden and say goodnight at about 9:30pm at this point she was already on the highway, Michelle’ and her girlfriend chatted for a few minutes and she stated she would call her back.
Michelle’ traveled interstate 81 south; at the point of her last phone call she had been awake for almost 40 hours with little or no rest. The call made at 9:30 was the last phone call Michelle made which has been confirmed by her cell phone records and the last time we know of that anyone has had any contact with Michelle of any kind.
On October 8, the security team at the Mack Truck Plant on Volvo Road at exit 9 Maugen Ave exit just inside the Maryland state line reported to the county Sherriff’s office a possible abandoned vehicle that had been parked across from their security check point at the plants entrance for 10 days prior. The investigating deputy found this to be a 2002 black Honda Accord belonging to Michelle McMullen. This deputy found the car unlocked with the driver’s seat laid back slightly with her pillow on the side of the seat and her cell phone, purse and several other personal items still in the vehicle. The Washington County’s sheriff’s department then called out a team of investigators along with police scent and cadaver dogs. Michelle’s scent was picked up from her pillow and it led the dogs approximately 50 feet down the road from her parked car, at that point the trail ends. A canvas of the area proved no other signs or clues to Michelle’s disappearance. The area that this exit is in is very industrial and commercial with little means of alternate public transportation. The Washington County law enforcement reports that questions have been asked of the 24 hour security personnel who occupy the check point station and they confirm, they did not notice the car directly across from their station in a well lighted area until the next morning and further more failed to report the car as abandoned for some 10 days afterwards because they thought it may have been left their because it had broken down and someone would be coming to retrieve it. The police report and the canvassing of the area find no one who had noticed anything or anyone unusual on that Sunday night or early Monday morning. We have along with private investigators gone through Michelle’s phone records for the last 3 months, checked with her MySpace friends, Facebook friends and her email accounts and nothing has proved a lead or a theory in this horrific event. The Harrisburg police are conducting an on going missing persons investigation, and yes there are additional investigations that run parallel to Harrisburg’s efforts and there are many groups, organizations and grass roots organizations across the country who have reached out and are continuing an extensive effort to find our beloved Michelle’.
We thank you for the prayers and support and the continued words of encouragement. We ask that you lift this situation up every time you bow your heads to pray.
